Happy New Year!

Surely like many of you, we have resolved to better ourselves moving into the year 2016. Whether it be eating right, working out, or spending more time with our loved ones, we all have big plans for ourselves. However, we also know that sometimes our big plans get pushed aside because of work, school, and other daily responsibilities that seem to take priority.

We’re making sure 2016 is the year we stick to our guns. We’ve compiled a list of fun things for you to do this January in Monmouth County so that spending time with your loved ones is one resolution that will be easy to maintain. We will try to do this every month so that this year is your best one yet!

Head to a Game: Visit Monmouth University in West Long Branch for an affordable sports outing that the whole family can enjoy. Both the men’s and women’s basketball teams have various home games throughout January. The Monmouth University bench is fun to watch and has received national attention. Fun For The Whole Family: Hang out at iPlay America in Freehold. iPlay After Dark happens every Friday night from 7 PM to midnight and includes an arcade, unlimited rides, go karts, and laser tag with a live DJ and light show. Dancing With The Stars: Live! Dance All Night Tour: The stars of ABC‘s hit television show will be at the Count Basie Theatre in Red Bank on January 13 for shows at 4 and 8 PM.
